Too small for his weight. Legs short. Back long. Head quite large. Neck a bit strong. But otherwise totally cute!

Don't you think? Donkeys usually all have a flour mouth. Shining white. Except for Bernd. He's a so-called smuggler donkey. You can't see him at night. Sometimes it works during the day too, when he hides.

Camouflage mode. And at that, the walking 99cm hero is a real character guy. Charming when he wants to be. Bullying donkey mate when he wants to. Bernd knows exactly what and who he likes and what and who he doesn't like. And he says so quite openly.

And he delivers reliably. He is exemplary at work. Reliable. Hard-working. And a top performer. Absolutely task-oriented.

In his free time he can be a bit of a troublemaker. The goat on the farm is his friend. Most of the time. Although they can play rough.

Bernd opens zips with pointed lips, likes to do circus lessons and also finds his way around the house. Although he's not allowed to be there. Why the sheep pen is for the sheep, he can't really say. After all, he is only a little bigger and fits in there too.

Bernd's sly cleverness allows him to cheat his way through. And in one frame it elicits a delighted grin. However, the inner eyes sometimes roll at the audacity with which he asserts his interests.

The little guy with the built-in super horn, which he thankfully rarely uses, is a phenomenon. You have to love him! And you despair at his impudence. He finds a way.

Who can leave him standing and still pick him up to cooperate in a focused way? Who can conquer his heart? This little running metre is a special challenge for heart and mind. He won't move a bit if you go about it the wrong way. Challenge accepted?
